Carry and Load Medley

Athletes will start behind the lightest keg/sandbag.

On the judges whistle you will have 60 seconds to carry each bag/keg 10m and load over a 1.2m Yoke.

Once the 3rd bag/keg is loaded, your time will be stopped.

Split times will be given for successfully loaded bags.

If not all bags/kegs are loaded before the 60 seconds you will be given a time according to the second bag /keg loaded.

All standard equipment is allowed (soft and hard belt, chalk, grip shirt, sleeves etc)

Farmer Carry

Farmer Carry

Carry Farmers for a set distance in fastest time possible.

Athletes start with the middle of the farmer on the start line.

On the judges whistle you will have 60 seconds to complete 30m carry on a 15m/15m course (up and back).

Once the middle of the farmers crossed the 15m mark you will be given a down call from your judge which you can turn and carry to the remaining 15m where you will receive another down call.

Your time will be recorded. If you drop before the 15m mark, you will be given a distance score.

All standard equipment is allowed (belt, sleeves, calk etc) No straps or tacky allowed.

Overhead Press Medley

Overhead Press Medley

Athlete will press each implement in order once for fastest time.

You will be using standard barbells and an axle with bumper plates.

Athletes will be 1m back from the first barbell.

On the judges whistle they will have 60 seconds to clean and press the 2 barbells and 1 axle, in ascending order of weights, from the ground to a full lockout, waiting for the judges down call.

Only once the preceding bar has been successfully completed, can the athlete move to the next weight.

The time will be stopped once the last rep on the axle bar has been completed.

If the 3 bars are not completed in the 60 seconds, split times will be taken on the last successful lift.

Belt cleans ARE allowed.

Deadlift for Reps

Deadlift for Reps

Athletes will deadlift for as many reps as possible within a 60 sec time limit.

Athletes will be deadlifting with a standard barbell and bumper plates.

Figure 6 straps are allowed. No deadlift suits.

Starting 1m back from the bar, on the judges whistle you will have 60 seconds to complete as many reps as possible to a full lockout, waiting for the judges down call before completing your next rep.

No touch and go or bounced reps allowed.

To prevent finger tripping the bar, the thumb must be around the bar, not in front of it.

All standard equipment is allowed (soft and hard belt, chalk, figure 6 & 8 straps, etc)

No barefoot deadlift. Something must be worn on your feet (sock or shoes).

Sandbag and Sled Medley

Athletes will start with their feet behind a line and have 60 seconds to complete a 10m sled push, 10m sand bag, 10m sled push and 10m sandbag carry.

Once the athlete’s feet cross the 10m mark with your sandbag or the middle of the sled crosses the line, you will be given a clear call from your judge which you can proceed to the next sandbag or sled.

Split times will be taken on completion of each implement but the implement must successfully receive the down call to be counted. No metres will be taken.

All standard equipment is allowed (soft and hard belt, chalk, figure 6 & 8 straps, etc). No tacky allowed.
