The Official Strongman Games is a festival of strength that brings together over 400 of the top Strongman and Strongwoman athletes from 50+ countries. The athletes will be competing for the World’s Strongest title across multiple divisions.
The Official Strongman Games has become a destination event for athletes and strength fans worldwide.
Athletes will clean and press a log from pads to overhead for max reps within a 60 sec time limit. Athletes will have 2 or 3 logs to choose from: a light log, a medium log, and a heavy log. A single rep completed with a heavier log will remove all reps from a lighter log. Reps completed with a heavier log will ALWAYS beat any reps completed with a lighter log. Athletes are allowed to go back to a lighter log if they fail a heavier log.
Athletes will compete head-to-head (4 lanes).
60 second time limit.
Total reps completed is your score.
Athlete begins at a starting line.
Athlete must wait for judge’s command to receive a good rep.
No lift will count unless a down signal is received from the judge.
To receive the down command, feet must be in line with each other and head must be in line with the arms. Elbow, knees, and hips must be locked out and stable.
Each rep must begin from the pads or ground.
Log is not allowed to touch or rest on the athlete's head.
No straps, hooks, tacky, tack towels, or grip shirts allowed.• No built-up belts or loose prongs/buckles in the front.
• Athletes will compete head-to-head (4 lanes).
• 60 second time limit.
• Time or distance completed is your score.
• Athlete begins inside the timber frame.
• Unlimited drops allowed.
• No straps, hooks, tacky, or tack towels allowed.
• Frame handle height will be 20in / 58cm, or lower, if desired.
• Athletes will compete head-to-head (4 lanes).
• 60 second time limit.
• Athletes will start standing at a line behind the lightest of the 4 bars.
• Once time begins, athletes will deadlift each bar, in ascending weight order, to full lockout.
• No lift will count unless a down signal is received from the judge.
• To receive the down command, knees and hips must be fully locked out with shoulders behind the plan of the bar. Once the down call is received, the bar may be dropped, and the athlete moves onto the next bar.
• In case an athlete is unable to finish all 4 bars, split times will be taken at each credited lift.
• Only conventional stance deadlifts will be allowed. (no sumo, Jefferson, etc..)
• Equipment not allowed: Built up belts (a single hard belt worn over a single soft belt is acceptable), tacky, spray adhesives, tack towels, or any other sticky substance, lifting hooks.
• Score will be total number of deadlifts completed and time. Split times are taken at each successful lift.
Athletes will carry the first sandbag 25ft / 7.5m and load it over a bar. Then, they will run around or under the bar and carry the sandbag 25ft / 7.5m and load it onto a platform. Then, they will run back to the second sandbag and repeat the process as fast as possible within a 60 sec time limit. - First sandbag is a Cerberus Strength Dual-ply Sandstone Sandbag. - Second sandbag is a Cerberus Strength Dual-ply Sandbag.
• Athletes will compete head-to-head (4 lanes).
• 60 second time limit.
• Time and number of bags completed is your score.
• Time stops when the last sandbag is loaded to the platform and the athlete’s hands are off.
• If an athlete is unable to finish loading both sandbags on the platform, split times will be taken at each sandbag load.
• Athlete begins on a line.
• Gloves and chalk are allowed.
• Bar and platform height are:
Women = 42in / 107cm
Men = 48in / 122cm
• Athletes will compete head-to-head (2 lanes).
• 60 second time limit.
• Athletes will start standing at a line behind the lightest of the 4 dumbbells.
• Once time begins, athletes will clean and press each dumbbell, in ascending weight order, to full lockout.
• Athlete must wait for judge’s command to receive a good rep.
• No lift will count unless a down signal is received from the judge.
• To receive the down command, feet must be in line with each other and head must be in line with the arms. Elbow, knees, and hips must be locked out and stable.
• Each lift must begin from the pads or ground.
• Dumbbell is not allowed to touch or rest on the athlete's head.
• In case an athlete is unable to finish all 4 dumbbells, split times will be taken at each credited lift.
• Equipment not allowed: Built up elbow sleeves (a single elbow sleeve and cuff is acceptable), tacky, spray adhesives, tack towels, or any other sticky substance.
• Score will be the total number of dumbbells completed and time. Split times are taken at each successful lift.
• Athletes will compete head-to-head (2 lanes).
• 60 second time limit.
• Athletes will start standing at a line touching the hitching post.
• Once time begins, athletes will load each stone, in ascending weight order, over a hitching post.
• Equipment not allowed: Tacky, spray adhesives, tack towels, or any other sticky substance.
• Score will be the total number of stones completed and time. Split times are taken at each successful load.
• Hitching post height is:
Women = 42in / 107cm
Men = 48in / 122cm
