4th Annual Clearwater Classic: Baddest on the Beach
February 6-7, 2027 | Pier 60 Park | Clearwater Beach, Florida
The following Terms & Conditions apply to all athlete registrations and VIP ticket purchases for the 4th Annual Clearwater Classic: Baddest on the Beach. By completing a registration or ticket purchase, all participants and spectators acknowledge and agree to the following:
EVENT AUTHORITY
The Clearwater Classic is owned and operated by Dutch American Strength LLC. Event staff, judges, officials, volunteers, and designated representatives reserve the right to enforce all event rules, policies, and procedures to ensure a safe and successful event experience.
All decisions made by event officials regarding competition matters, event operations, athlete eligibility, scoring, scheduling, and event administration shall be final.
EVENT MODIFICATIONS
The Event Director reserves the right to modify, alter, add, remove, postpone, relocate, substitute, or otherwise change any aspect of the event if deemed necessary.
This includes but is not limited to:
Such modifications are considered a normal part of event management and may occur without prior notice.
ATHLETE RESPONSIBILITIES
All registered athletes are responsible for:
Understanding and following all competition rules
Monitoring official event communications and announcements
Arriving on time for athlete check-in, weigh-ins, rules meetings, and competition
Providing accurate registration information
Maintaining eligibility requirements for their division
Obtaining any required memberships, qualifications, or certifications if applicable
Competing in a safe and sportsmanlike manner
Athletes may be disqualified or removed from competition for failure to comply with event rules.
FOR TEENS*
Age must be between 13 and 17 years of age with signed parental consent form filled out on day of check-in prior to competing.
VIP TICKET HOLDER RESPONSIBILITIES
VIP ticket holders are responsible for:
Maintaining possession of their VIP credentials and wristbands
Following all event staff instructions
Remaining within designated spectator and VIP areas
Conducting themselves respectfully toward athletes, spectators, vendors, and staff
VIP access is limited to designated VIP areas and benefits associated with the purchased ticket.
WRISTBANDS, CREDENTIALS & EVENT ACCESS
Athletes, VIP ticket holders, vendors, staff, and authorized participants may be issued credentials, badges, wristbands, or other identifying materials.
These items:
Must be worn or displayed when requested
May not be duplicated or altered
May not be transferred without written authorization
Remain the property of Clearwater Classic and Dutch American Strength LLC
Event staff reserve the right to revoke credentials for violations of event policies.
CODE OF CONDUCT
All attendees, athletes, coaches, spectators, vendors, sponsors, volunteers, and staff are expected to conduct themselves professionally and respectfully.
The Event Director reserves the right to deny entry, remove, disqualify, or restrict participation for any individual engaging in:
SAFETY
Safety is the highest priority of the Clearwater Classic.
All participants and spectators agree to comply with safety instructions provided by event officials, venue personnel, emergency responders, and event staff.
Individuals who create unsafe conditions may be removed from participation or attendance.
MEDIA RELEASE
By attending, registering for, competing in, or participating in Clearwater Classic, all individuals grant Dutch American Strength LLC, Clearwater Classic, sponsors, partners, media outlets, photographers, videographers, livestream providers, and promotional affiliates the unrestricted right to:
Photograph
Film
Record
Livestream
Broadcast
Publish
their name, likeness, image, voice, performance, competition results, and appearance for promotional, advertising, educational, marketing, social media, website, and future event purposes without compensation.
All event media remains the property of Clearwater Classic and Dutch American Strength LLC.
ASSUMPTION OF RISK
Participation in strength sports, fitness activities, demonstrations, and attendance at live sporting events involves inherent risks.
Athletes and attendees acknowledge these risks and voluntarily assume responsibility for their participation and attendance.
Athletes are responsible for determining their own physical readiness to compete.
Spectators are responsible for exercising reasonable caution while attending the event.
WEATHER & OUTDOOR EVENT CONDITIONS
Clearwater Classic is an outdoor event.
Participants and attendees acknowledge that weather conditions may vary and may include:
Reasonable efforts will be made to provide a safe and enjoyable experience while operating within venue and safety guidelines.
VENDOR, SPONSOR & EXHIBITOR PARTICIPATION
Vendor, sponsor, and exhibitor participation is subject to approval by event management.
The Event Director reserves the right to refuse or revoke participation for any business, organization, or individual whose products, services, conduct, or activities are deemed inconsistent with the event's mission or standards.
NO REFUND POLICY
The Clearwater Classic requires substantial financial commitments months in advance of the event, including venue rental, permits, insurance, equipment, awards, athlete shirts, swag, staffing, marketing, production costs, and event operations.
For this reason, all athlete registrations and VIP ticket purchases are subject to the following No Refund Policy.
ALL ATHLETE REGISTRATIONS ARE FINAL.
No refunds, credits, transfers, exchanges, or deferrals will be issued for any reason, including but not limited to:
• Injury
• Illness
• Family emergencies
• Work conflicts
• Military obligations
• Travel delays or cancellations
• Failure to make weight
• Failure to meet eligibility requirements
• Failure to obtain required memberships, qualifications, or registrations (if applicable)
• Personal scheduling conflicts
• Change of mind
• Withdrawal from competition
• Failure to attend weigh-ins or athlete check-in
• Failure to compete on competition day
• Disqualification or removal from competition
Athletes understand and acknowledge that event expenses are incurred well in advance of competition day and that their registration secures a reserved competition spot that cannot always be filled if they withdraw.
ALL VIP TICKET SALES ARE FINAL.
No refunds, credits, exchanges, or transfers will be issued for any reason, including but not limited to:
• Illness
• Injury
• Travel issues
• Schedule conflicts
• Family emergencies
• Late arrival
• Early departure
• Failure to attend
• Change of plans
• Dissatisfaction with competition outcomes
• Athlete withdrawals from the competition
• Personal circumstances beyond the control of the event
VIP Tickets are limited in quantity and reserve space within designated VIP viewing areas. As a result, all sales are considered final upon purchase.
EVENT MODIFICATIONS
The Clearwater Classic reserves the right to modify, alter, add, remove, substitute, postpone, relocate, or adjust any aspect of the event, including but not limited to:
• Competition events
• Event order
• Competition schedule
• Athlete divisions
• Competition weights
• Vendors
• Sponsors
• Entertainment
• Event layout
• Event programming
Such changes shall not constitute grounds for a refund.
WEATHER POLICY
The Clearwater Classic is an outdoor event held on Clearwater Beach.
Attendees and athletes acknowledge that weather conditions may include:
• Heat
• Humidity
• Wind
• Rain
• Temporary delays
• Environmental conditions associated with outdoor sporting events
Weather-related delays, schedule adjustments, or modifications made in the interest of safety shall not qualify for a refund.
FORCE MAJEURE
In the event of circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the event promoter, including but not limited to:
• Severe weather
• Hurricanes
• Natural disasters
• Government restrictions
• Public safety concerns
• Venue issues
• Acts of God
• National emergencies
• Other unforeseen circumstances
The event may be postponed, relocated, modified, or canceled.
Every reasonable effort will be made to reschedule the event or honor registrations and tickets at a future date when feasible. However, refunds may not be available due to contractual obligations and expenses incurred prior to the event.
AGREEMENT
By purchasing an athlete registration, VIP ticket, vendor space, sponsorship package, or by attending Clearwater Classic in any capacity, the individual acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
The Clearwater Classic is committed to providing a professional, family-friendly, and world-class experience for athletes, spectators, sponsors, vendors, and the entire strength community.
