Log Clean & Press

Athletes have 3 attempts to post a max Log

  • athletes have 60 seconds to compete a successful lift

  • all attempts are to be submitted to the scorer no later than 15 minutes prior to lifting commencing

  • Athletes are allowed 2 attempts within each attempt

  • The down call must be achieved within the time frame to deem a lot successful

  • Log lockout : Log over head, head through, Feet together under the body, stable & motionless

  • Any logs lost behind the athlete, regardless of a good lift or no lift, will be deemed a no lift

  • Logs must be controlled back to the pads. Hands must remain on the log until at least waist height

  • Mic Dropping or aggressive dropping of the log will result in a no lift

  • Down calls will be audible & visual

  • The log can not rest on the athletes head at any time. If this occurs, the athlete will be instructed to put the log back onto the pads & re attempt

  • Ladies will be lifting on a Stand or Submit 10" log

  • Men will belting on a 12" log. If a male athlete opens on a weight that is higher than 75kg, they will use a 10" log until the weight reached 75kg

  • The minimum jump between attempts is 2.5kg

  • Next attempts are to be submitted to the Scorer within 60 seconds of competing a lift. If an attempt is not submitted, 2.5kg will be added to the bar automatically

  • Referees calls are final

  • Belt loops are not allowed

  • Shoes must be worn

Allowed : Knee sleeves, Belts, Wrist wraps, Elbow Sleeves

Not allowed: Knee wraps, Headphones, grip aid of any kind

Deadlift

Athletes will have 3 attempts to deadlift the heaviest weight possible. Athlete will specify each attempt.

Athletes have 3 attempts to post a max deadlift

  • athletes have 60 seconds to compete a successful lift

  • all attempts are to be submitted to the scorer no later than 15 minutes prior to lifting commencing

  • Athletes are allowed 2 attempts within each attempt. An attempt is when the bar leaves the ground

  • The down call must be achieved within the time frame to deem a lot successful

  • Deadlift lockout : Knees locked, hips through, shoulders back, stable & motionless

  • Down calls will be audible & visual

  • Bars are to be controlled to the ground. Hands must remain on the bar until at least knee height

  • Mic dropping or aggressive slamming/dropping of the bar will result in a no lift

  • All athletes will be lifting on a Cerberus Deadlift Bar

  • The minimum jump between attempts is 2.5kg

  • Next attempts are to be submitted to the Scorer within 60 seconds of competing a lift. If an attempt is not submitted, 2.5kg will be added to the bar automatically

  • Referees calls are final

  • A minimum of socks must be worn

Allowed : Knee sleeves, Belts, Wrist wraps, Elbow Sleeves, deadlift suits. figure 6 & 8 straps allowed

Not allowed: Knee wraps, Headphones, grip aid of any kind

Atlas Stone

Athletes have 3 attempts to post a max stone

  • athletes have 60 seconds to compete a successful lift

  • all attempts are to be submitted to the scorer no later than 15 minutes prior to lifting commencing

  • Athletes are allowed 2 attempts within each attempt. An attempt is when the stone leaves the ground

  • The attempt will be successful when the stone is on the platform an stable

  • Athletes are not permitted to grab the platform/cross bar to aid the lifting of the stone to the platform

  • All athletes will be lifting on a Calibrated Stand or Submit Atlas Stones

  • The minimum jump between attempts is 2.5kg

  • Next attempts are to be submitted to the Scorer within 60 seconds of competing a lift. If an attempt is not submitted, 2.5kg will be added to the bar automatically

  • Referees calls are final

Shoes must be worn

Allowed : Knee sleeves, Belts, Wrist wraps, Elbow Sleeves, deadlift suits. figure 6 & 8 straps allowed

Not allowed: Knee wraps, Headphones, grip aid of any kind
